Susan Polgar

The first Polgar prodigy was born on April 19, 1969, in Budapest. Her name at birth was Polgár Zsuzsanna, later when they started to travel, she started to use the first name Susan.

She lives in Florida with her second husband and her two sons. She worked primarily as a university collegiate chess coach and institute director rather than a traditional academic professor, serving at Texas Tech University and Webster University.
